North End Curling Corporate Events are a great way to bring your organization together for an evening of fun and camaraderie.
Availability
The North End Curling Club rents its ice at Steriti Memorial Rink which is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). The rink is open from November – March each year. Additionally, our club is 100% volunteer operated. Due to limitations on both ice rink and volunteer availability, our club has limited corporate event scheduling flexibility.
We typically hold our events on weekday evenings. If your organization only requires a 2 sheet rental (see below), it may be possible to begin at 4pm on a weekday.
Description
An event is typically around 2.5 hours. This allows the time needed for:
- signing waivers
- on-and-off ice instruction regarding safety, the rules of curling, demonstration, practice and finally playing an abbreviated game
- socializing with your coworkers.
All curling equipment is provided by the club. Participants are expected to bring their own, warm clothing and wear athletic shoes.
Pricing
The full rink is divided into 4 sheets (a curling playing surface). There is a 2 sheet minimum rental with a 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking. The remainder is a non-refundable payment due 4 weeks before the date of the event. Organizations may by cash, check, or credit card*.
The pricing structure is as follows:

For groups smaller than 12 people, we recommend attending one of our Learn To Curl events.
*Organizations paying via credit card will be charged 2.5% extra for processing charges.
Catering
Food and drinks are not provided, however there are several excellent restaurants in the area from which you could arrange catering. The club can provide names of restaurants if desired. The DCR does not allow alcohol inside the facility.

Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities
If your organization would like to become a sponsor of the North End Curling Club we have the following opportunities to get involved:
- $250: Organization name or other custom engraving on a curling stone handle
- $500: 24×36″ metal sign with organization logo to be posted on the club’s storage boxes.
- $2500: Organization name or other custom engraving on a set of 16 stone handles.
